Who we are

EASy POCUS (easypocus.net) is operated by Bughrara LLC, which is the controller responsible for the personal data described below. In this policy, “EASy POCUS”, “we” and “us” mean Bughrara LLC.

What we collect

• Account information — name, email address, institution, and professional role when you create an account.
• Learning activity — module enrollment, progress, and quiz results, used to track your training and issue certificates.
• Download activity — the resource downloaded, its language, the date, and the page you took it from, associated with your account. Every downloadable PDF is handed over through a sign-in, so each download is recorded against the account that took it. We record nothing else about the download: no IP address, no device fingerprint, and no location.
• Uploaded images — ultrasound images and clips you submit for educational review. Any use beyond that review — teaching material, research-model training, commercial development — is a separate permission you grant or withhold on the upload form, is never inferred from an earlier upload, and can be withdrawn. Uploads must be fully de-identified before submission (see our Terms of Use, which also set out how long examinations are kept).
• Contact submissions — name, email, and message when you use the contact form.
• Usage analytics — we use two measurement tools to understand how the site is used. Vercel Analytics is anonymous and cookie-free. Google Analytics 4 reports which pages and referrers lead people to the free cards, drills, and courses; outside the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland it sets a first-party cookie to distinguish repeat visits. We have disabled all advertising signals, so this data is never used for ad targeting, ad personalisation, or audience building, and we do not run ads.
• Visitors in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland — Google Analytics is configured to store nothing on your device. Your visit is counted in aggregate only, with no cookie and no identifier, which is why you are not asked to accept one.

How we use it

• To provide and improve the EASy POCUS education platform.
• To review submitted images and provide educational feedback.
• To measure the educational reach of EASy resources — which resources, languages, and training materials are most useful, and where additional training is needed.
• To train and validate AI models for hemodynamic phenotype identification, using de-identified images only.
• To respond to inquiries and course interest.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising.

Where it lives

Data is stored with Supabase (database and authentication) and the site is hosted on Vercel. Aggregate usage measurement is processed by Vercel Analytics and Google Analytics; neither receives your account details, uploaded images, or anything you submit through a form. All three providers maintain industry-standard security practices, and transmission is encrypted via HTTPS.

Your choices

You may request a copy of your data or deletion of your account at any time by contacting research@easypocus.net or using the contact form.

Audience

EASy POCUS is intended for healthcare professionals and trainees. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the date above.
