Terms of Use
Last updated: June 11, 2026
1. Educational purpose
EASy POCUS provides educational content on point-of-care ultrasound for healthcare professionals and trainees. The platform does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and is not a substitute for clinical training, institutional credentialing, or professional judgment. See the Medical Disclaimer.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration information and for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. Accounts are personal and may not be shared.
3. Uploaded content and de-identification
By uploading ultrasound images or clips, you confirm that:
- All content is fully de-identified — it contains no patient names, dates of birth, medical record numbers, facility identifiers, or any other protected health information (PHI), whether embedded in the image, the file name, or metadata.
- You have the right to share the content for educational and research use.
- You grant EASy POCUS a non-exclusive license to use the de-identified content for education, expert review, quality assurance, and AI model training and validation.
Uploads containing PHI will be removed. Compliance with your institution's policies and applicable law (including HIPAA) is your responsibility.
4. Intellectual property
The EASy protocols, course materials, videos, and site content are the intellectual property of EASy POCUS and its contributors. You may use them for personal education; reproduction or redistribution for commercial purposes requires written permission.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the platform — including attempting to access other users' data, disrupting the service, scraping content at scale, or submitting unlawful or infringing material.
6. Limitation of liability
The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EASy POCUS and its contributors are not liable for any damages arising from use of the platform or reliance on its educational content in clinical settings.
7. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the platform evolves; continued use constitutes acceptance. Questions: research@easypocus.net.
